Amigos is a social chip-tracking platform. No real money is involved. Chips have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or prizes.
Amigos ("we", "us", "our") operates the Amigos app and website at amigos.club (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it.
By using the Service you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Account information. When you register with an email address and password we store your username, email address, and a bcrypt hash of your password. When you sign in with Google or Apple we receive your name, email address, and a provider-specific identifier; we never receive your Google or Apple password.
Gameplay data. We record every poker hand played on the Service, including actions taken, chip amounts, and hand outcomes. This data is used to display hand history and detect cheating.
Push notification tokens. If you grant permission, we store a push subscription token so we can notify you when it is your turn or a table is starting. You can revoke this at any time in your browser or device settings.
Log data. Our server automatically records your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps when you interact with the Service. These logs are retained for up to 90 days for security and debugging purposes.
Device identifiers. When you use our iOS or Android app, the operating system may provide a device identifier that we use solely for push notifications.
We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Hand history is retained indefinitely for provable-fairness verification. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us (see Section 9).
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data: passwords are hashed with bcrypt (12 rounds), all data in transit is encrypted with TLS, authentication uses short-lived JWTs with server-side revocation, and we apply rate limiting and brute-force protection on login. No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password and enable two-factor authentication on your email account.
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address in Section 9. We will respond within 30 days.
California residents (CalOPPA / CCPA). We do not sell personal information. You may request a copy of the data we hold about you and ask us to delete it. We do not discriminate against users who exercise these rights.
EEA / UK residents (GDPR). Our legal basis for processing your data is the performance of the contract you enter when creating an account, and our legitimate interest in keeping the Service secure. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
